what should a first post be like exactly? however this one turns out is what it should be like :P i’m starting this blog in hopes that it’ll someday be a family blog where i’ll write about my marriage and children and post pictures all the time. but for now, that family is only beginning to form. i’m hoping to be married by the end of this year, but who knows what events will take place. the boy needs a job. he just lost his, but that is good news b/c he hated it and it was in boston which is far away from me. he needs to move here. here being maine. but i told him last night i’d maybe move to san francisco where it sounds like it’s always nice. and “francisco” is fun to say :)
i also wanted my own .com so today i bought rachaelizabeth.com…only it directs people to rachaelizabeth.wordpress.com which annoys me. i will need to fix that. perhaps soon the boy can create me my own website since that’s sort of what he does? graphic design, etc.
i also wanted a new blog because i feel different. everything is changing now since the boy has come along. i’ve had xangas and other things, but this feels more official. and for now, no one will be able to read it, so i don’t have to think about an audience that i’m writing to. for now, i’m just writing to everyone and no one. i can be the different that i feel. let whatever’s in me come out.
