these are books i’ve read or am reading and love and spoke volumes of truth and freedom to me:

2/19/10 currently reading: the fire of delayed answers by bob sorge. so far so good.

anything by john and stasi eldredge: all of these books are fundamental to human/christian life…
     wild at heart: helped me see a man’s heart, life, role. 
     captivating: makes sense of everything i feel as a woman and what god has made me to be and how to be set free
     love & war: on marriage.
     walking with god: hearing god in every big and little thing in a non hokus-pokus way

emotionally healthy spirituality by peter scazzero: makes the christian and human experience make sense. the way to really be a new creation in christ :)

the power of a praying wife by stormie omartian: helping me focus. just good :)

the mystery of marriage by mike mason: poetic and theological. beautiful.

the blessing by gary smalley: we all need certain blessings at different points in our lives. helps me see what i missed out on and what i want to purposefully give my kids :)

anything by donald miller: he’s such a  good writer; i’d read anything by him :)
     blue like jazz: read it…
     searching for god knows what: self explanatory?
     to own a dragon: about father relationships

anything by rob bell: sex god, velvet elvis

envy: the enemy within by bob sorge: helped me see how prevalent and bad envy/jealousy is and what lies beneath it. it’s good to look at this and uproot it.

intercessory prayer by dutch sheets: really helping me have a concrete idea of what prayer is and why it’s needed and how powerful it is. it’s fueling my desire to pray and giving me faith behind my prayers…i’m no longer begging, i’m asking boldly and expectantly :)
